Seit unserer Weltreise konzentrieren Jesse und ich uns zwar weiterhin aufs Reisen (so eine gro\u00dfe Reise stillt das Fernweh nicht, sondern facht es eher nur noch mehr an), aber auch darauf, unsere vier W\u00e4nde noch gem\u00fctlicher zu machen. Ein gro\u00dfer Wunsch, den wir schon lange auf unserer Interior-Liste stehen haben: Ein Ecksofa! Ich hatte zwar bereits einen super gem\u00fctlichen und sch\u00f6nen Dreisitzer, damals noch aus meiner eigenen Wohnung<\/a>, aber uns hat noch was zum richtigen Ruml\u00fcmmeln gefehlt.<\/p>\n

Bis wir dann endlich ein passendes Modell gefunden haben, hat es doch recht lange gedauert. Das liegt zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil daran, dass ich eine gaaaanz genaue Vorstellung, davon hatte, wie das Ecksofa aussehen soll. Elegante Metallbeine, ein beiger, aber dennoch robuster Stoff und am besten optisch \u00e4hnlich zu meinem Dreisitzer. Nach Monaten hatten wir dann endlich eine Variante in einem Showroom gefunden und bestellt, nur um dann festzustellen, dass es viiiiel zu gro\u00df f\u00fcr unser Wohnzimmer ist #fail…<\/p>\n

Nachdem wir fast aufgegeben hatten, lief uns dann irgendwie das deutsche Unternehmen Sitzfeldt \u00fcber den Weg, das durch den Auslass eines Zwischenh\u00e4ndlers Spitzenqualit\u00e4t zu einem fairen Preis anbietet. Alle Sofas sind Made in Europe und die Stoffe kommen aus Italien und sind \u00d6kotext-Standard zertifiziert (mehr dazu lest ihr hier<\/a>). Wir haben uns sofort in “Nimbus<\/a>” verliebt, aufgrund des schlichten Designs und der sch\u00f6nen Metallf\u00fc\u00dfe:

Since our world trip Jesse and I are till focussing on traveling (an amazing journey does not ease the wanderlust, but actually fuels it more), but also to make our own four walls even more comfortable. Something that has long been on our interior wishlist: a corner sofa! I had a super cozy and beautiful three-seater from my old apartment<\/a>, but something that we could really laze about on was still missing. <\/em><\/p>\n

It took quite a long time to find something that we really liked. This is mainly due to the fact that I had an exact idea of \u200b\u200bwhat the corner sofa should look like. Elegant metal legs, a beige, yet robust fabric and optimally it should be similar to my three-seater. After months we finally found a model in a showroom and ordered it only to then realize that it was waaaayyy too big for our living room #fail … <\/em><\/p>\n

After almost giving up, we came across the German company Sitzfeldt, who offers top quality at a fair price by leaving out the middlemen. All sofas are Made in Europe and the fabrics come from Italy and are \u00d6kotext-Standard certified (read more here). We immediately fell in love with “Nimbus<\/a>” because of the simple design and the beautiful metal feet:<\/em><\/p>\n

Zun\u00e4chst haben wir erst einmal ein Stoffmuster<\/a> bestellt. Schlussendlich fiel unsere Wahl dann auf Modesto in Beige. Dieser Stoff besteht aus zwei verschiedenfarbigen Garnen wodurch eine feine, interessante Schattierungen entsteht. Trotzdem f\u00fcgt er sich ruhig in unser Zimmer ein, da die Verarbeitung erst bei genauerer Betrachtung deutlich wird. <\/p>\n

First, we ordered a fabric sample<\/a>. Ultimately, our favorite was the Modesto in Beige. This fabric is made of two different colored yarns, resulting in a fine, interesting texture. But the details are not too much and it fits perfectly in our room, since the fabric details become apparent only on closer inspection.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"boho \"bohoTats\u00e4chlich gibt es in mehreren St\u00e4dten Sitzfeldt-Showrooms (Berlin, K\u00f6ln, Frankfurt, Hamburg, M\u00fcnchen, Stuttgart), doch nach der monatelangen Suche haben Jesse und ich risikofreudig einfach bestellt. Nach acht Wochen voller Vorfreude kam es dann endlich an und unser Gl\u00fcck habe ich auf Video festgehalten<\/a>!!! Die Lieferung und der Aufbau erfolgten problemlos und ich konnte endlich meine ganzen Decken und Deko-Kissen aufs Sofa schmei\u00dfen. Drei Tage lang haben wir dann gef\u00fchlt nur auf dem Sofa verbracht, sehr gem\u00fctlich! Drei Tage chillen und arbeiten auf dem Sofa waren zwar nicht so gut f\u00fcr meinen R\u00fccken, ich hab sogar extra einen Stehtisch, aber das war es wert \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Ziemlich bald ist uns dann aufgefallen, dass uns der Mittelteil zu weich erschien. Nach einem kurzen Telefonat mit dem Kundenservice gab es dann schnell einen Techniker-Termin, bei dem sich ein Experte das Ganze mal genauer anschaute. Vor Ort erkl\u00e4rte er uns dann, dass alles einwandfrei verarbeitet sei. Da es aber ja um unser Empfinden und keine technischen Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be ging, hat er uns ein kleines Polster unter den Mittelteil gepackt und siehe da, nun f\u00fchlt sich alles f\u00fcr uns perfekt an! Das nenne ich mal Service (mehr zum speziellen Service von Sitzfeldt, auch zum R\u00fcckgaberecht und zur Garantie, k\u00f6nnt ihr hier<\/a> nachlesen)!<\/p>\n

There are Sitzfeldt showrooms in several cities (Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart), but after the months of searching, Jesse and I took the risk and just ordered without checking it out in the showroom first. After eight weeks of anticipation, it finally came and I recorded how happy we were on video! The delivery and the construction were done without problems and I finally could throw all my blankets and decoration cushions on the sofa. After that, it felt like we spent three whole days on the sofa, it is very comfortable! Three days of chilling and working on the sofa were not so good for my back, I even bought myself a special standing desk, but the time on the sofa was worth it \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

After a couple days, we noticed that the middle part seemed too soft for us. After a short telephone call with the customer service we quickly got a technician appointment, in which an expert looked at the whole sofa closely. He told us that everything was built perfectly. But since it was about our feeling and no technical yardstick, he added a small cushion under the middle part and lo and behold, everything feels perfect for us! Auch wenn ich einen Blogger-Rabatt erhalten habe und somit hier eine Zusammenarbeit vorliegt, bleibt meine Meinung zu 100 Prozent echt. Und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich das Sofa w\u00e4rmstens empfehlen kann! Wie gesagt hatte ich vor dem Techniker-Termin kurz meine Bedenken, da wir wirklich alles perfekt haben wollten. Nachdem der Mittelteil aber nach unseren Anspr\u00fcche individuell angepasst wurde, sind wir nun 100 Prozent zufrieden und ich bin auch happy, dass es diese Service-Option gibt!<\/p>\n

Even though I received a blogger discount and this is a cooperation exists, my opinion remains 100 percent genuine. And I can honestly say that I highly recommend the sofa! As I said I briefly had some concerns before the appointment with technician since we really wanted to have everything perfect. But after the adjustment to meet our preferences, we are now 100 percent satisfied and I am also quite impressed with this service option!<\/em><\/p>\n
