Preview Day One MBFW Berlin

Here is my first look from Fashion Week Berlin SS14.
When I arrived early in the morning at the tent, I actually had a yellow skirt on. Somehow I managed to get super big stains on it, as it rained the night before and some mud must have splashed on me on my way. Fashion Drama and Dress Panic! I had a clutch with me and was able to hold it over the stain for the first show but that was not a solution. I also couldn’t get it out of the skirt with soap and water so I was really frustrated and was about to go home and change (I would have missed the next shows). Jesse suggested then to find a nearby cleaning service but the one I found didn’t have a magical solution either. However next to it was a Zara and all desperate I popped in and bought this green one on Sale for super cheap – tadaa finally I was presentable again for Fashion Week.
Stupid drama, I know, but I really didn’t wanna walk around with a big stain on my skirt, you always feel like people are looking at you and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable. It’s funny, people asked me if I changed and were really impressed and curious on how I did it. Here is the story now, very unglamorous 🙂
Anyway that’s how I ended up with this outfit. How do you like it? It has three different shades of green, a color I rarely wear.

Hier ist mein 1. Look von der Berlin Fashion Week.
Als ich am Zelt ankam hatte ich eigentlich einen gelben Rock an. Irgendwie habe ich es aber geschafft, dicke schwarze Flecken auf den Rock zu bekommen, es hat die Nacht davor stark geregnet. Fashion Drama und Panik! Ich hatte eine Clutch dabei und konnte sie während der ersten Show über die Flecken halten, das war aber nicht die Lösung. Ich hab’s auch nicht geschafft, die Flecken mit Wasser und Seife rauszukriegen, also war ich super frustriert und war schon dabei nach Hause zu gehen um mich umzuziehen (dabei hätte ich aber die nächsten SHows verpasst). Jesse hatte dann die Idee zu einem Reinigungsservice zu gehen, die die ich gefunden habe, hatten dann auch keine Zauberlösung. Gegenüber war aber ein Zara und voller Verzweiflung habe ich mir dann dort diesen grünen Rock als super Schnäppchen im Sale geschnappt – tadaa endlich war ich wieder vorzeigbar.
Ja, vielleicht alles etwas übertrieben, aber ich wollte wirklich nicht mit einem fetten Fleck rumlaufen, da fühlt man sich so, als würden alle darauf schauen und ich habe mich einfach nicht wohl gefühlt. Verpassen wollte ich aber deswegen auch keine Show. Es war lustig, weil viele dachten ich wäre die Mega-Fashionista mit 3 Outfit-Wechseln am Tag. Ich meinte nur, dass sie meinen Blog lesen sollen, dann würden sie schon die eigentliche Story erfahren 🙂 Hier ist sie, voll unglamourös!
Wie auch immer, so kam es also zu diesem Outfit. Wie findet ihr es? Irgendwie stand ich dann mit drei verschiedenen Grüntönen im Look da, obwohl ich sonst fast nie Grün trage.
