Heute ist nicht irgendein Fair Fashion Friday. Heute ist Fashion Revolution Day ganz unter dem Motto #WhoMadeMyClothes. Zwei Jahre ist der Fabrikeinsturz von Bangladesch nun her und es ein bisschen was getan, aber noch längst nicht genug. Deshalb werden am heutigen Tag auf der ganzen Welt Designer, Einzelhändler, Produktionen uv.m. ihre nachhaltigen Produktionsverfahren vorstellen. Als Konsument kann man auch Teil der Bewegung werden und die Hersteller fragen, woher die Klamotten kommen:
Today is not just any Fair Fashion Friday. Today is Fashion Revolution Day and the slogan is #WhoMadeMyClothes. The factory collapse of Bangladesh happened two years ago now and as a result some things have change, but still not enough. Therefore, today, all over the world designers, retailers, producers and many more present their sustainable production. As a consumer, you can be part of the movement and ask the producers where the clothes come from:
Ich finde die Aktion mega gut und habe ehrlich gesagt nicht soooo viel davon letztes Jahr mitbekommen (shame on me) deshalb will ich sie umso mehr dieses Jahr promoten. Events stehen nämlich nicht nur online sondern auch offline an. Für alle Berliner kann ich heute den LNFA Store empfehlen, der heute die #FashRev Swap-Party im Bikini Berlin veranstaltet (Ich wäre auf jeden Fall auch dort, wäre ich heute nicht auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen *freu*). Bei meinen Fair Fashion Friday Posts werde ich mir auch Mühe geben, mehr über die Produktionsbedingungen der einzelnen Brands zu schreiben. Aber auch das Thema Umweltschutz ist mir sehr sehr wichtig, deshalb stehen eco-friendly Produkte bei mir auch immer ganz oben. Wie findet ihr meine heutige Auswahl? Eine schöne bunte Mischung für den #FashionRev Tag, oder?

I think the idea is really really good and honestly did not notice so much of it last year (shame on me) and thats why I want to promote it more this year. There are events scheduled not only online but also offline. For all Berliners I recommend stopping by theLNFA Store, which is used as the venue for the #FashRev swap party in Bikini Berlin (I would definitely be there as well if I wasn’t invited invited to a wedding * smile *).
In my Fair Fashion Friday posts, I’m going to make more of an effort to write more about the production conditions of the individual brands. But, the issue of environmental protection is also very important to me and thats why eco-friendly products are always my favorite. How do you like my selection today? A beautiful mixed bag for the #FashionRev day, right?
