layering up in Edinburgh

It was cold, just cold in Edinburgh, however it was actually 16 degrees Celcius warm but I was freezing due to the wind and the rain. The scottish people didn’t mind the weather at all and as soon as it was sunny they ran around in T-Shirts and Sandals and felt like it was summer again. I guess you just get used to a different climate.
Apart from the cold the trip was amazing, we had many sunny days, the city is beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing, the people were super nice and shopping there is heaven (Topshop, River Island, New Look, lots of Vintage stores, etc.)! A photo diary will follow soon!

NEWS: I will move from Blogger to WordPress in the next few days, that means that my heylilahey.com site will not be working for a few days. Blogging is a (very very very time consuming) hobby of mine, but I always want to improve it, develop it, and part of that is creating a more professional looking design. I hope you guys will like it!!!

Es war kalt, einfach nur kalt in Edinburgh, obwohl es immerhin 16 Grad warm war. Aber der Wind hat sich saukalt angefühlt und mit Regenschauern wurden wir auch nicht selten überrascht. Den Schotten hat das wechselhafte Wetter scheinbar gar nichts ausgemacht, sobald es etwas sonnig wurde sind sie alle in T-Shirt und kurzer Hose rumgerannt, als wäre es Sommer! 
Abgesehen von der Kälte war unser Kurztrip aber perfekt, wir hatten viele Sonnenstunden, die Stadt ist umwerfend schön, Trinken und Essen war spitzenmäßig und die Einheimischen waren supernett (auch wenn ich sie nie verstanden habe)! Ach ja, und man schwebt dort im reinsten Shoppinghimmel (Topshop, River Island, New Look, viele Vintage Läden). Eine ausführliche Fotostrecke folgt noch.

NEWS: Ich werde in den nächsten Tagen meinen Blog von Blogger zu WordPress rüberziehen, das bedeutet auch, dass man meinen blog über heylilahey.com für ein paar Tage nicht erreichen kann. heylilahey.blogspot.com wird aber noch funktionieren!!!! Und für meine GFC-Leser: Ich habe einen Weg gefunden, GFC zu behalten, also keine Sorge! Falls ihr aber sichergehen wollt, weiterhin Updates von mir zu bekommen, dann folgt mir doch über Twitter, Facebook, Bloglovin, instagram oder Pinterest. 
Glaubt mir, der Umzug wird es wert sein! Das neue Design ist sooooo toll! Ich bin so aufgeregt! Ich habe mir schon lange überlegt, diesen Schritt zu wagen. Bloggen ist zwar ein (SEHR zeitaufwändiges Hobby, ich poste auch mehrmals die Woche) Hobby, aber ich will mich mit meinem Blog immer weiter entwickeln und ein Teil davon ist das ganze Design professioneller zu gestalten. Ich hoffe so sehr, dass es euch gefallen wird!

This pullover is also one of my new favorites. The candy colors remind me of summer but its thickness will keep me super warm during winter!
