Barcelona Outfit: In tone with the city

Einer meiner Neujahrsvorsätze war es, mehr Kurztrips zu unternehmen. Gesagt getan ging es letztes Wochenende nach Barcelona 🙂 wir sind erst seit einem Tag zurück, deshalb hier erst einmal ein Outfit-Post, bevor ich einen ausführlichen Reisebericht schreibe. Ich habe nämlich ein paar echt tolle Tipps für so einen Mini-Trip. Und sogar ein Video wird folgen.

Die Hauptrolle meines ersten Barcelona-Looks spielt mein neuer beiger Vintage-Mantel. Gepaart mit einem gemusterten Kleid, Sonnenbrille und Feinstrumpfhose ergab der Look das perfekte Barcelona-Outfit. Irgendwie passe ich mich oft der Umgebung in Sachen Fashion an. Ich bleibe meinem Stil zwar immer treu, aber ich hole mir einfach immer viel Inspiration.
In Südafrika war ich sehr bunt gekleidet, in New York ziehe ich mich eher etwas auffälliger als in Deutschland an und in Berlin greife ich irgendwie immer öfter zu schwarz. Und jetzt in Barcelona etwas mehr Hippie im Boho-Look. Kennt ihr das Phänomen auch? Im Mai stehen London und Brighton auf meinem Reiseplan, mal sehen, was ich hier einpacke 🙂

Barcelona outfit: One of my New Years repositions was taking more weekend trips. Said and done: last weekend Jesse and I visited the amazing city of Barcelona! But before a big travel post will follow (and even a video) I am showing you my first outfit from Spain.

The main focus of this look is definitely my new vintage coat. Paired with a pattern dead, tights and sunglasses it was the perfect look for Barcelona. Somehow I often adjust to the location I am at. I still stay true to my style but I definitely take many inspirations from my surroundings. In South Africa I dressed pretty colorful, in New York I try to dress cool and chic and in Berlin I tend to wear more and more black and now in Barcelona I sported the boho-chic-look. Do you sometimes do the same? In May I am going to London, let’s see how I get influenced by this fashion-melting-pot.

Die Jacke habe ich direkt vor unserem Kurzurlaub im Secondhandshop bei mir ums Eck gekauft. Der Preis war top, das Material ist hochqualitativ aus Wolle, aber leider leider habe ich kurz vor der Abfahrt komische, grünliche Flecken entdeckt – vielleicht von Chlor? – die man nur im Tageslicht sieht. Jetzt muss ich mich entscheiden, was ich damit mache. Mit den Flecken leben, die Jacke weggeben oder einen Reinigungsversuch starten?

Auf jeden Fall ein Second-Hand-Fail, der auf meine Vintage-Shopping-Tipps-Liste kommt.
Ein paar kleine Flecken halten mich aber nicht davon ab, den Mantel zu tragen. Die Farbe und der Schnitt sind einfach genial. Was würdet ihr machen?

I bought this jacket right before we left in a Secondhandshop close by. The price was great, the material is really high quality, but unfortunately later I discovered some weird greenish stains – maybe from bleach – that you can only see in daylight. What should I do – toss it, try to clean it or just live with it? What would you do?
